This chimney located in beautiful Taftsville, Vermont was in poor shape. The homeowner decided that she wanted to add a second story to the house, and therefore the chimney needed to be extended another 12 feet.  Chimney Savers was called to provide an estimate on this extension of the chimney.

Chimney Savers took the chimney down to the old roofline and rebuilt it 12 feet higher using new bricks.

After the chimney was built we installed two stainless steel chimney liners—one to each of the wood burning stoves. We coordinated with the carpenters and roofing contractors for a seamless job.

Now the homeowners can enjoy the views from their new second floor addition and have peace of mind while burning their woodstoves.
