North Pomfret, Vermont sits nestled between the towns of Sharon and Woodstock and is home to several large and older chimneys.

This chimney in particular had seen better days, and after a long winter one of the brick columns holding up the concrete rain cap came tumbling down.

Chimney Savers inspected the chimney and found that, not only should the chimney be rebuilt from the roofline up, but it could also benefit from a stainless steel chimney liner to safely vent the oil furnace.

As seen in the pictures below, Chimney Savers’ expert masons rebuilt the chimney from the roofline up, topping it off with an aesthetically-pleasing bluestone rain cap!
